Molyhil Tungsten Project
The Molyhil Tungsten Project is located approximately 220 kilometres north-east of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, adjacent to Tivan’s Sandover Fluorite Project. Tivan completed the acquisition of the Project in 2026.
Molyhil hosts a JORC Code (2012) compliant Measured, Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource of 4.647 million tonnes at 0.26% WO₃ and 0.09% molybdenum, using a 0.05% WO₃ cut-off grade. This contains approximately 12,100 tonnes of WO₃ and 4,400 tonnes of molybdenum.
Tivan is advancing plans for a mining and processing operation producing tungsten scheelite concentrate and molybdenite concentrate. Tungsten and molybdenum are included on the Australian Government’s Critical Minerals List and are important inputs across the defence, advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, automotive and energy sectors.
Scoping Study
In April 2026, Tivan completed a Scoping Study for the Molyhil Project.
Tivan is now progressing a Pre-Feasibility Study, together with exploration, approvals, commercial and project-development workstreams. The current study schedule targets a Final Investment Decision in Q4 2027.
Strategic Partnerships
In June 2026, Tivan signed separate Key Terms Memoranda of Understanding with Sumitomo Corporation and ETFS Capital. These establish a framework for the negotiation of long-form agreements covering the planned development, financing, operation and marketing of Molyhil, including up to A$50 million of potential stage-gated equity investment.
Tivan has also entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Aboriginal Investment NT to explore potential collaboration, including investment, employment, procurement, contracting and other opportunities for Aboriginal participation in the Project.
