  • Further high-grade copper-gold mineralisation has been discovered at multiple target areas throughout Tivan’s Baucau, Ossu and Turiscai Projects in the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.
  • Grades of up to 6.87% Cu and 24.7g/t Au were returned from assays of 574 rock chips; anomalous nickel, cobalt and silver grades were also returned including up to 2.23% Ni, 0.26% Co and 15.1 g/t Ag.
  • At the Vemasse Prospect (Baucau), a coherent Cu-Ag-Zn-S ± Se ± Bi geochemical trend has been identified over a 300m strike length including extensive copper and zinc anomalism.
  • At the Scorpion Prospect (Baucau), a significant polymetallic anomaly has been identified extending over an area of approximately 1,000m by 800m, including high-grade copper, gold, nickel and cobalt mineralisation.
  • Tivan is exploring for copper and gold mineralisation at its projects in Timor-Leste, including porphyry and volcanogenic massive sulphide (“VMS”) style deposits.
  • High-grade copper and gold mineralisation has previously been discovered at the projects through rock chip and stream sediment sampling; a large-scale regional drone magnetic survey is underway at the Turiscai and Baucau Projects to identify and refine priority exploration targets for drilling.
  • The latest assay results further support Tivan’s exploration model in Timor-Leste and highlight the prospectivity of the Projects for high-grade mineralisation of critical minerals and precious metals.

Comment from Executive Chairman of Tivan Limited

Mr Grant Wilson commented:

“Our report today illustrates the material progress Tivan is making in Timor-Leste and the steep knowledge curve we are ascending, transforming world-class prospectivity into actionable drilling targets, all with the strong support of local stakeholders and the Government of Timor-Leste.

My congratulations to our geology team in Australia, for their professionalism in advancing our projects methodically and systematically over the past year and a half, and to our local team for their hard work and dedication in the field, including their respectful engagement with the communities where we are operating.

Since the start of Tivan we have highlighted the importance of creating a durable alignment of interests between stakeholders and shareholders. In Timor-Leste, we are firmly on track to deliver maiden drilling programs that have the potential to transform Timor-Leste as a nation, and to generate unbounded upside for shareholders of Tivan“.
